1. Who we are

BioAncestra ("the Service") is operated by BIOANCESTRA TECH ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service, including the AI analysis server and the wellness reports it generates.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using BioAncestra you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Medical Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

3. What the Service is — and is not

The Service provides free, educational wellness insights computed from information you provide and cosmetic measurements taken from your photo on your own device.
The Service is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. No output of the Service should be used as a substitute for professional medical care.
Reports are generated by deterministic, rule-based logic built on published health frameworks (WHO, CDC, ACC/AHA, FINDRISC, National Sleep Foundation). They are estimates for awareness purposes only.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service, or use it under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

5. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

upload photos of another person without their clear consent;
use the Service to make medical, insurance, employment or other consequential decisions about yourself or anyone else;
attempt to probe, disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure;
use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

6. Your content

You retain all rights to the photo and information you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process and store them solely to generate and display your report, as described in the Privacy Policy. We never sell your data.

7. Our content

The Service — including its design, logo, text, scoring logic and reports — is owned by BIOANCESTRA TECH and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may print, download and share your own report freely; you may not copy or redistribute the Service itself without our permission.

8. Free service, no warranties

The Service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BIOANCESTRA TECH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any decision made or action taken in reliance on the Service or its reports. Your sole and exclusive remedy for any dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold BIOANCESTRA TECH harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision, and continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
